Try starting the ball either 2-3 clicks to the left or 1-2 clicks to the right. This will send the ball to the top of the board along either the left or right wall, and should dislodge one or more of the exposed capsules. Play conservatively and make contact with the ball in the center of your paddle. If it’s your first time through 34 levels, then take advantage of the initial slow ball and clear out some of the four low-hanging bricks. When the ball starts moving fast, send it up the left or right chute, clearing out bricks at the top of the level until the ball slows down.
BrickBreaker Level 8
Start the ball one or two clicks to the left. It’s dangerous to start the ball off to the right, especially when the ball is moving fast, because you can get trapped in the right corner under those four diagonal bricks. Work on destroying some of the low-hanging bricks near the left wall to give yourself breathing room on that side. Focus on hitting the ball with the left half of your paddle so that it stays on the left half of the board.
Keep sending the ball up the left side of the level until the ball has stopped moving fast and you’ve cleared out enough bricks to give yourself breathing room. Then begin striking the ball in the middle of your paddle and gradually clear out the remaining bricks.
Sometimes the ball will end up beneath the four diagonal bricks on the right-hand side of the level, often as a result of an angled shot that sneaks through the gap between two bricks. This is especially dangerous the second time through when the ball is moving quickly. When this happens, work on destroying the right-most brick that’s touching the right wall. This will create a useful escape route.
There are no capsules on this level.
BrickBreaker Level 7
Launch your ball from the starting position on this level (zero clicks), which should destroy one of the single bricks protecting the two adjacent capsules. With your next shot, hit the ball back slightly to the left and try to dislodge one of those capsules.
Alternatively, start out one click right to take out one of the two bricks near the right wall. Clear out the two bricks closest to the right wall as well as the two bricks closest to the left wall. This will give you some room to maneuver on both sides of the board. Play conservatively and make contact with the ball in the center of your paddle.
BrickBreaker Level 6
Start off two clicks left or one click right and try to damage one of the bricks touching the wall on either side. With your next shot, try to destroy that brick you just damaged. Send the ball to that spot a third time and it should go through the opening you’ve just created, damaging the surrounding bricks. Keep attacking that same side of the level until you’ve cleared a path to the top.
BrickBreaker Level 5
Try starting the ball two or three clicks to the left. The ball should travel up the left-hand chute and hopefully will dislodge either the capsule nearest the left wall or the topmost capsule. When the ball is moving fast, send it up the left or right chutes until it’s moving slowly again. Then go after the exposed capsules on the bottom left and bottom right, if you haven’t dislodged them already. From there, carefully clear out the rest of the level.
