The final level! Just start the ball one click to the right, and it will hit the bottom row of unbreakable bricks and start descending. Intercept it and hit a moderately angled shot off the right half of your paddle to redirect the ball up the right wall.
If the ball ever comes out of the chute, just send it back up the right wall until you’ve destroyed the single red brick and cleared out the level.
If you get the Gun on this level, just blast through the unbreakable brick touching the left wall, and then destroy the single red brick to end the level. Multi, Catch, Long and Life are all helpful here.
If this is your first time through 34 levels, your quest to beat BrickBreaker is half complete. You’ll need to complete all 34 levels a second time to truly “beat” BrickBreaker. The second time through 34 levels, the ball will start off moving fast all the time. Make sure you’ve read and understand the Brick Breaker ball speed tips so that you’re not caught by surprise.
If you’ve just completed all 34 levels for the second time: congratulations! From here on, the ball moves very slowly and the game becomes much easier. Keep playing conservatively until you’ve built up a cushion of at least 10 lives, but after that you’ll be able to rack up your score as high as you want.

Good tutorial. I use most of the tactics here. I just have 2 comments. I usually grab all capsules except Flip. Even if it changes me to another paddle or if I already have the capsule that is falling (catch, laser, gun) I still grab it because all capsules are worth 50 points each!
Also, I usually only use Gun on the metal bricks. I will always be able to break the red bricks, just may take more hits, but again, the metal bricks are worth 50 points each. It all helps the high score.

Like some other levels, I think this one has a ‘sweet spot’ for the initial launch. Launch with one click to the right and as the ball descends try to hit it with the very right hand corner of the paddle. This should send it up the open channel at a shallow angle zig-zag, all the way up and down the board right through to strike the red brick. Even without a really good capsule (Gun or Multi), the ball then often seems to change to a steep angle, become trapped in the left hand most channel, and finish the red brick off. (Needs three hits in total.) This certainly works on the first pass through the levels, needs a little more ‘right’ on launch for the second and doesn’t seem so good once you’ve past ‘the turn’, by which time, things are a little easier anyway.

As a true brickbreaker klutz, I whiled away many hours only getting to a top score of score of about 33,000 in April.
That was after playing for perhaps two years!
What a klutz!
Then, in late June I topped 48,000.
A few days ago I started playing, and low and behold, I am now at 221,000+ with 31 lives in the bank.
What happened?
Then I found your site today. I will read through it, but when I get beaten I’ll send you the score.

Nice one Ben! What happened is you got past what I call the Turn (described here: https://www.brickbreakerguide.com/brick-breaker-game/). Now you’ll be able to rack up a huge score.

I have reached several times the level 34 in blacberry brickbreaker, level 33 it is the most difficult my higher points 16090

After about level 13, the game only has one trick: a row of unbreakable bricks that decensd to one milimeter above the pad, and some inaccessible bricks that it takes 1,000 shots to finally hit. That’s it. The designers sure didn’t have much imagination. They made the game really hard and really frustrating, but not very fun or interesting.

Can I download this game on my LG mobile phone?
Pierre says
Sorry but I’m not sure
Antonino says
it may be someone knows, why sometimes the ball goes out of frontier of screen and the play stops without any possibility to begin again from the same level ?
Pierre says
Hi Antonio, I have seen that happen before. It’s a bug on some BlackBerry models. As I recall, it only happens if the metal bricks have dropped down one place and the ball goes into that space between the top of the metal brick and the top of the level. The only way to prevent it is to avoid sending the ball up to the top until the metal bricks have dropped at least two places. Sometimes though, you can’t avoid it, and you end up forced to restart your game. I don’t know of any way to prevent this, other than switching to a different BlackBerry model :-(. I am using the Bold 9650, and this doesn’t happen to me any more.

the last level article helped me a lot .
i finished the game thrice but the ball is not slow .
i got 14 lives.
Pierre says
Great! That’s strange that the ball is not moving slowly at this point. It should be!

This shit is awesome! not sure why people will buy the guide if you have it online. though this is pretty sweet. Me & my family have been adicted to this game all weekend.
Pierre says
Thanks man.

If I get a gun on this level, I shoot the unbreakable brick like you recommend, but I also shoot another unbreakable before taking out the red one. Hey, it’s another 50 points!
Pierre says
I think that’s a good plan once you’ve passed 34 levels twice. I generally recommend not worrying about points until then, otherwise you can get distracted and lose an easy life here and there when you need ’em most.
