BrickBreaker Level 26

BrickBreaker Level 26 Diagram

Launch the ball all the way left (four clicks). It should bounce off the wall and into the channel of red bricks, breaking many of them. The ball will soon come back out of the channel though. While you’re waiting for it, position your paddle somewhere under the word “brick” in the diagram at right.

When the ball does emerge, try to hit it with the left half of your paddle so that it stays on the left half of the board. You will probably need to hit the ball twice to redirect it back into the channel. Keep doing this until you have cleared out the channel and created a path all the way to the top of the level.

If you get stuck under the row of unbreakable bricks, you’ll need these instructions.

If you get the Gun on this level, destroy the leftmost three unbreakable bricks from the bottom row — the ones directly under the word “brickbreaker” in the diagram at right. This shortens the length of the channel and gives you some breathing room.

    Pierre,

      Hi Ednei,

Yes, after you get through all 34 levels twice (68 total levels), the ball should slow down (or at least, not speed up). The bricks still descend, but the ball should be slower. And the game should be much easier as a result. It’s strange that this isn’t happening to you. What BlackBerry model are you using?

REALLY difficult the second time. On the first round, you have a few shots on slow to clear out those bottom layers. On the second round, when it’s fast from the start, it’s way harder to clear out the bottom rows. I lost 8 lives here and I think I might have lost them all if I hadn’t gotten lucky and gotten a catch.

As a general matter, I dislike catch early in the game but in the later levels, especially in the fast round, it’s a godsend. In fact, often, once I have catch, I will avoid even grabbing a life so as not to lose catch. Catch saves me more lives than one life capsul gets me. A couple of times I ditched catch in order to grab a life and then went on to lose way more lives than I gained.

Talvez esse seja um de meus erros, pois eu nunca deixo de capturar uma VIDA. Vou tentar fazer como voce, vou ignorar uma VIDA caso ja tenha em mãos um PEGAR.
      Good Luck!

I have found that on level 26 I do best when I get the GUN by destroying the three bricks against the far left wall. This gives me a shortcut to the upper levels and seems to reduce the number of times you have to replay the ball off the bottom row of bricks. It also keeps me on the far left side of the board…best for avoiding missing the ball after sneaky bounces or speedups during the play.

Interesting, I will give that a try. Thanks Steve
