All-Time BrickBreaker High Score

To check the current BrickBreaker leaderboard, hit the BlackBerry’s right-click menu from inside BrickBreaker. Select the High Score option. The leaderboard isn’t available on the Internet — you can only see it on your BlackBerry device.

As of this writing, the #1 BrickBreaker high score is 2,121,701,232, by a player named Johanna.

Honestly, I sometimes have a hard time believing scores like this. I know that it’s possible to rack up an unlimited score if you follow my BrickBreaker game strategy. However, to reach a score like Johanna’s — over two billion points! — you’d need to go through all 34 levels roughly 100,000 times. If you worked through all 34 levels every single day, by my reckoning it would still take over 300 years to get a score that high. So, something’s fishy there. [Update: As a couple people have pointed out, it’s also impossible to get a score ending in ‘2’.]

That being said, you can still rack up a 100,000 or a 1,000,000 point score. You might not make it to the top of the leaderboard (unless you have 300 years of free time), but you’ll still have the satisfaction of “beating” BrickBreaker, and perhaps having the highest score amongst your friends!

    Thanks for this service. I have racked up 6,756,530 points on my curve with 3597 lives, which I believe is the highest lives number per point. However my brickbreaker screen is now frozen and nothing helping it.
    Do you have advice on how to fix without removing the battery?

    i just got to 1,000,000 and am sick of playing so I was going to hit “quit” but if I do that will my score stick or does it get deleted?

      Hi Chris, here’s what I wrote a couple years ago. As far as I know, this is still accurate.

      Often, people are working on a big high score but need to reset their BlackBerry. Be aware, if you take the battery out of your phone, it will erase your high score. To record the high score you’ve been working on, you can either lose all your lives or force-quit the game by right-clicking the BlackBerry menu button and selecting Close, then clicking Yes on the confirmation screen. You’ll need to start your next game from zero.

      You can also take a picture of your high score and send it to me — I’ll post it on the unofficial leaderboard.

    My score is quiet pathetic compared to the other scores I’ve read at 17110 with 6 lives hahahahaha oh well at least I’ve completed brick breaker which was my main objective!!!

    Dumb game. Round 2 harder than round 1. Round 3 through forever easier than round 1. Make it past round 2 and you can play forever. Like watching the same movie over and over. Anyone playing past round 10 or so needs a life.

    Completed 91 levels at about 1.6million points and 1001 lives. I was really hoping that it would stop at 999 lives. My next hope is that it will stop at 100 levels. After reading this I see that isn’t likely. I can’t stop I guess my only hope is a phone crash…

    Help! Mine keeps crashing back to start. I have a saved game, and when I restart, I get a momentary view of a little black clock in the centre then instead of going back to where I was, its starts from the beginning, score 0.

    I play revolution. I had previously racked up 39 million on the score but hit new game instead of continue, that was frustrating. Being unemployed for 5 months has made getting over 70 million “a piece of pie”. I tried the new version of brick 3d and do like the graphics.

    and I thought I was doing well! only 451590 with 90 lives; (25x(level25/34)).. my worry is that at some point I would have to restart my device or the battery might got accidentally disconnected!

    Speed BB blog of Pierre is amusing since allow to save score at any round and combine it with nice pictures
    The app error 523 is an unbeatable problem therefore speed BB s the only solution to continue playing BB

    Just to point out some facts, first of all a score of 2 billion is impossible because Brickbreaker can only reach a score of 999 999 990 points. I also did some calculations and found that playing level 1 through 34 takes an average of 45-50min (its possible to do it quicker but this is an average after doing it 10 times) and I also found that and average score accumulated during an entire level clearance is 15-20 000 points. So if you can play 12hours a day it will not take you 300years but only 11years.

    After this calculation I’m done playing, my score is 686880 points 206 lives 39x(Level 8/34).

    My score on 30th aug 2013 is 5,050,770 and i have 811 lives. Have been playing same game for over a year. I am 60 yrs old and do not have the phone skills to cheat! Game very addictive

    Everything you get a life or a catch or another object you get around 500 points. So that adds to it.. Life gets 122 points so it is possible to have A SCORE ENDING IN TWO SWAG

    I have a score (currently playing on my BB) of 1,737,760 with 481 ‘lives’ … It is a freakin crazy addictive game!!! I’m on level 100 at the moment …
    I avoid the ‘flip’ and ‘wrap’ drop-downs (can’t get my brain around those)
    Does this game just go on and on and on and on ???

    Has anybody had trouble with the paddle sticking, for me it seems when my score gets up there the paddle will stick or jump on me and the only way I can fix it is to reboot my blackberry which also eliminates the game, I have been robbed of some close to 1.000,000 point games because of this.

    My high score was 1,272,500 with 73 lives remaining then my phone locked up l tryed everthing to unlock it but I got mad and did something really stupid I took the batery out it unlocked it but I lost my game and stupid me I didn’t think to photograph it so I lost 5 weeks of time on that game at least I have time to start over again as I am a dialysis patent and I am at 502200 with 50 lives so this time I will take pictures as I go so I won’t have to worry about peaple believing me

    When i was in U.S.A. the score was 2000020 and was posted in the leader board.After i landed in India the system rebooted and i had restart all over again.A few days back my score was around 850000 with 475 lives and the system once again rebooted and i lost the score.I have decided not to play again.

    On Sunday I had a score of a bit over 1,250,000, with about 525 lives. Unfortunately I forgot to put it on the charger and battery got low enough it shut down. Monday morning I had to start over from zero. Seems odd that if you BB can remember your contacts and last wake up alarm setting, it wouldn’t be that difficult for it to remember your game. To top it off, I don’t even have the satisfaction of having my high score at 1.25M, because the high score only gets updated if your game ends by running out of live!

    Oh well. Now on 2nd pass through, level 24 with 3 lives. Better be some lives in those bricks or making it through the 2nd time will be touch and go.

    I’m at 178953 and have 45 lives. Dec 30/2012. After the second level, the ball travels at the regular speed. piece of cake. Just focus on the ball nothing else unless you really need life or gun or laser. Catch is good for those real tight levels. I’m on my 10 go around. :]

      Congrats David – yup, you’re now at the point where the speed is at a nice playable rate, though it will sometimes speed up for some reason but will not be that way for long. Keep plugging away and enjoy that score getting higher.

    Hi Pierre – I’ve been hooked on Brickbreaker for about 4 years now and have been determined to reach a certain goal – 10,000,000, I just reached it today… YEAH!!! I have 4,819 lives and my new goal is to reach 5,000 lives. Two different times I had reached roughly 4,000,000 and 6,000,000 scores respectively but had to take the battery out to get my blackberry working again after the game froze up. Needless to say they were dissapointing times.

    I read your hints on each level and found them to be exactly what I discoverd playing them. Once you get each level down, playing them successfully… stick with it. One must also watchout for the little pitfalls the game seems to have; the ball going through the solid bricks from time to time – the change in the vectors the ball will go depending on the level you are on, and the speed change (faster than human reaction time) even after passing level 34 the second time around (though it seldom happens it will do so).

    I will get a screen shot soon and send it to you as for some strange reason, I am proud of the fact I actually reached the 10,000,000 mark. Your site here is fantastic, I’m glad I found it.

    The real secret to huge Brick Breaker scores is the phone you use! I never achieved really big scores until I moved from the old school Blackberrys with the roller ball and track pad to the touch screen torch a couple of years ago.

    It became so easy it was almost a joke, just depends how long you can be bothered to play on it. Even if you’re trapped directly under a row of bricks and it’s moving fast, the paddle moves so accurately using the touch screen that you just never die.

    My current game is just over l million with 300 lives plus but i’ve lost two much bigger high scores doing battery resets at the wrong time!

      The scoring on this game definitely changed once newer versions of the Blackberry were released. When I stopped playing in March 2007 after knocking Daniel Allen out of first place with a score of 1,393,105, I had hundreds of lives left, but the game wouldn’t let you get beyond board 2 of round 81. So that limited the number of points you could accumulate. Basically you had to maximize points along the way in order to get to the top of the leader board. I got knocked out of first place about a month and a half later, and the guy that knocked me out got knocked out 2 days after getting on top…always felt bad for that guy…he spent more hours playing the game to get the high score than the number of hours he actually spent in first place…

      I think it’s probably good that the game had an end point back then, because I would have kept playing forever it there was no end. I gave it up cold turkey after getting the high score…after all, who was I trying to beat…myself, one, maybe 2 other people…not worth it.

      It’s definitely addictive and a good way to pass the time during a long commute…

      I can’t get past 650,000 due to my Torch locking up and requiring a battery pull. I’ve gotten there twice and have been at around 450,000 twice but that’s as far as I got. I’m trying it again though. I’m at 125,000 and determined to hit a million…

        Yeah that is a constant struggle. It becomes more about keeping your phone alive than actual brick-breaking skill.

    I have 350,060 points 28 lives x18. At my peak I had 55 lives, but tried to play intoxicated one night & that didn’t work out so well lol. Sadly, my company is switching phones, so I have to return the bb. I’m very happy to know that I’m an elite brickbreaker. Good luck to all!

    The last snap-shot I have on my PC is 1,028,620 pts with 307 lives, 59x(Level 1/34). Started this game on 31st Oct & it continues till date.

    I’ve just recorded a score of 35,850 on Speed Brickbreaker, through 2 levels. I’ll send you a screen shot, so I can poach 5th place on your leader board. I missed very few capsules, and can’t imagine how Maso and yourself managed scores around 38k. Did you get an unusually high number of ‘Gun’ and ‘Laser’ capsules?

      Yep, I got lucky with Lasers and Guns. You especially need to get Laser on level 11. I think a top high score in the 2-round BrickBreaker probably must involve lots of luck.

    BTW, my high score is 12,460, which is puny compared to some of the scores and accumulated Lives, but I had a breakthrough recently that got me through to the 24 Level (and I had only been past Level 16 a couple of times). I play on a BB, will try the PC version sometime soon.

    Since there is not really a place for a general comment, I thought I would add it here.

    Just a slight correction on the Life capsule. While the Life capsule cancels the powers of other capsules, the one that is maintained is Wrap.

    If it takes you all day to get through all 34 levels, then yeah, it’ll take you 3000 years. I go all 34 levels 5 or 10 times a day, depends on how much down time I have.

    My current score is 785,140 with 182 lives which I thought was high. Looking here it is not so great…lol

    My problem is my BlackBerry Messenger has locked and I think taking the battery out will help reboot it. However, I will then lose my brickbreaker game in progress.

    Does anyone know how I can save the game to continue at a later stage?

    one was 3 600 000 and the other 2 200 000

    mi highscore now is 1 788 060, i have 867 lives and 101 turns

    No way one can score 2-billion!!! (also notice the last number is a “2”. All scores are in increments of “10”.
    I am at 6.6 million with about 2,500 lives and playing current game for seven months or so……I would call my amount of “play time” average or below average. At my current pace, it would take 190 years to get to two billion….sorry Charlie
    1.) Has anyone every had the paddle “stick” for long periods of time? When this happens it is sually is smooth for one “hit”, then sticks and over compensates to one direction or the other upon recovery. I get this every million points or so……suggestions please.
    2.) Have you ever arbitrarily lost “sound”. No matter the sound level setting I select it is still silent.

    The high score is very doable and not in that much time either. I got to 1700000 + before the game froze and went to an “uncaught exception” and forced me to accept it upon which it promptly reset w/o recording the score. It had taken about 5 months of playing when time allowed and I was on the 94th time thru the levels with 1102 lives. I am now to 68x thru and moving right along.

    Just hit 5,000,000 1874 lives. I can usually get up to 100,000 a day but it would take 58 years at that rate to hit 2,000,000,000! The game hasn’t even been out that long…lol I’ve been working on this particular game since the beginning of April 2012.

    This game really annoys me. Blackberry really annoys me. Totally addicted to this game, love it to the point of crazy. High score is 3 and a half mil, my Crapberry will not let me beat it. Every time I reach 3 million the game gets laggy, my Crapberry gets laggy – it either crashes and reboots or I have to spend ten minutes trying to fish the battery out. Anyone else experienced such a weird error/glitch/f**k up?

    My score right now is 7,529,370 with 1664 lives. When I started this game on July 17, 2011, my high score was 34,750.

    I tried sending my high score to brickbreaker on my device and it keeps giving me an error message. It shows up on my blackberry, but would like to share. When I try to look at the high scores from the brickbreaker app it says service no longer available….what gives?

      I get that error too. I think BlackBerry has stopped supporting the high score board. I created the unofficial high score board so that people would have another place to record their scores so feel free to post it there!

    Hi guys

    I made a new record as far as I know – 193,230 points in the first ten rounds, which gives an average 19.3 thousand per round. I submitted the picture to the leaderboard.

    I was lucky getting laser on level 11 most of the rounds, but on the other hand missed couple of guns, so if you are lucky, i can imagine an average 19.5k as achievable.

    Hi Pierre

    for various reasons (namely the game becomes boring after the first two rounds) I decided not to continue after ten rounds. I always terminate the game by then and record my high score at that moment. My best is 190,760, which gives an average of just slightly over 19k per round (including the first two speedy rounds).

    I wonder if anyone wants to play the same game?

      Hi Maso,

      I like that idea. For a while I was personally trying to get the highest possible score after two rounds (my highest was 36,120). Like you said, this is more challenging, for those who’ve already mastered the game. I was thinking of calling it Speed BrickBreaker. Let’s see if anyone else who wants to play this chimes in on this post.

      And I’ll see how I can do against you on a 10-round session!

        From a former discussion forum on plazmic.com, which was however shut down back in 2009, I know about someone who scored 192,620 in the first ten rounds (and 38,250 in the first two rounds) which is quite a challenge.

        I have downloaded and stored that discussion. Its full of useful advice of how to improve your average score and can share it if you wish, its some 52 pages in MS Word.

        it does get borin and i have to remember to keep it charged lol . im on 1,280,700 with 687 lives and im trying to see how many lives on average per round i can get . I like your way of going for the biggest score in two rounds .It is prob the way forward but im loathed to write this game off now until my battery dies

    I am frustrated with my blackberry device. I had over 1,900,000 with over 600 lives and the blackberry reset losing my score. Then I had 0ver 684,000 with over 300 lives but I had to removed my battery to reset the phone as I could not make calls. I had to sacrifice all my lives so I could save my score before resetting the phone. I then got an all time high score of over 2, 150, 000 with over 1150 lives and my phone reset itself on Christmas day losing my game. It sucks that you cannot save your score without losing all your lives. Once you get past all the levels twice, the games slows down and it is almost impossible to lose after that, apart from the crap blackberry. Is this game designed to fail when you get a good score?

      Oof, those are some really tough games to lose. As someone mentioned to me a while back, it seems that the high-score champion is the person who can keep their phone from resetting for the longest period.

    About a year ago I cracked the game and my high score went from about 32,000 to something like 700,000, but the game reset, so my high score stayed at 32,000! I’ve found my BlackBerry resets the game every six or seven weeks, which gets very frustrating. The best I’ve achieved in that limited time is about 1.4 million, although it only would show 32,000. Finally, I gave up. I knew my six weeks was running out and I had a nice score racked up, so I wasted like 400 lives so I could have a good recorded high score. I was able to kill off the game with a score of 1234560, which now shows on my BB.

    Great guide! I enjoyed reading it even though I’d already mastered the game when I found it- I was googling hi-scores because I finally reached the one million milestone today in a game that’s probably been running 6 months! My best prior to that was 32,330 but having cracked ‘the turn’ as you coin it, I’ve been playing the same game ever since. Initially I was disappointed that the game gets easier, but it is nice to drop in and out of it without the obsession of beating your hi-score every time you play. Each 100,000 milestone was a nice marker to reach and also 100, then 200 lives. I’ve also found that it’s nice to let friends play screens they have never seen, or even master ‘problem’ screens practising on your BB and burning 50 lives or so that you can afford to lose.
    Like you I don’t buy the 2 billion score, although it looks as if I’m going to have to get to 2M, to be anywhere near claiming a record, assuming Oscar Mexico keeps trucking!!

      Wow, great score!! If you’d like to take a screenshot (using a camera / someone else’s phone) and email it to me, I’ll post it on the “unofficial leaderboard”.

      Often people are working on a huge score and their BlackBerry freezes up before they have a chance to save it…so it’s sometimes good to keep a record!

      Nice. Based on your score I bet you have gotten pretty far along into the second pass through 34 levels. If you can just make it through level 34 the second time through, you’ll be in good shape to run up your score.

    I have just hit 1,000,000 points. Only problem is I have a BlackBerry 8900, which hides most of the score. Is there a way to show the score on the screen – other than by giving up my 227 lives!

      Nice Raymond! Once you get to around 30,000 or so, the game opens up and you’ll be able to rack up an unlimited score. At least until your BlackBerry freezes :-).

    I played a lot, but found two things that turned me off the game:
    1) Once you get through all the levels a few times, it gets very easy. It slows down and you end up with almost unlimited lives (i.e. more than 100)
    2) It would take me several weeks of playing in my spare time (in airports, on planes, etc.) to get up to half a million points and then my BB would freeze and I’d lose the game. This happened three different times.

      Yeah that is really frustrating when the phone freezes and you have to reset. BrickBreaker is funny that way. Those quirks seem to make it more addictive (at least for me).

    i’m at 550,000 BUT unfortunately i forgot my Brick Breaker passoword and now cannot upload my high score
    does any one knows how to retrieve BB password??
    OR
    how to find the BB high score lists, maybe i’ll be able to find my username??

      Hi Maseoud, I don’t know how to retrieve a BrickBreaker password. I believe when you are submitting a new high score you can just create a new username and password and you’ll be able to register the high score. It’s difficult for me to confirm because I no longer have access to the BrickBreaker leaderboard. Other people are having this problem too.

    I have paused my game at 999,990 points and 483 lives because I heard that the game re-sets itself at 1,000,000 points. Now that I see otherwise, I guess I’ll carry on (at least until I go blind or crazy, whichever comes first).

    Currently at 156,830 with 48 lives. I lost a game to rebooting blackberry when I was in the 37500 (ish) range with 70 or so lives. I thought that the first time i broke through that it must have been a great score…14 million, wow, i don’t think i can last that long, great string, i will save it to my favorites and try to post on your un-official site when i get a little farther along.

    Hi Pierre, I too saw the so called high score of 2,121,701,232, by a player named Johanna, but suspect they hacked the site and added a false score as the number ends in 232…..no game can end in a number other than 0 because the scores are all in multiples of ten. the second hightse score is around 14,000,000 which does end in 0. I also cannot post a high score anymore, since I upgraded my blackberry, have eclipsed the 1,000,000 mark 6 times now, the last five times my phone either died, battery came out, or it chose to reset on its own. currently at 1,121,870 62nd time through with 289 lives, but my best prior to it resetting was 2,331,000 (give or take a little as I am not exactly sure what it was when it reset) with 878 lives and on the 129th time through. As I cant access the high score screen anymore, I have no idea where that stands.

    It takes roughly one hour to get through the 34 levels. At roughly 17,000 points per round it would take 124,805 hours to get to 2,121,701,232 points or 5,200 days or 14 years assuming one did nothing but play brickbreaker 24 hours a day every day without stopping over this period of time. So my guess is Johanna somehow rigged the software to come up with that score. Also as a previous contributor said all scores end with a zero which is futher proof that she rigged the score.

    I am at 5,253,530 with 1415 lives and frustrated that I cancot find a leader board to see where I stand. One of your contributors suggested a website on my blackbery but it did’nt work. Can you help?

    Well I have to say, I thought I was nuts for playing this *&$# game so much. Over 6 million points? My God man! I am officially DONE with BrickBreaker. I’ve had different blackberries since 2003 through my company and grew addicted to this game, trying so hard to beat it. It would make me so angry, and I felt like it was actually cheating at times. At one point I became so frustrated with it that I looked for cheat codes simply because I wanted to “STICK IT” to this game once and for all. Didn’t find any that worked. 🙁 Eventually I stopped playing, never actually beating all the levels. Well, not too long ago I started playing again and somehow managed to get passed the 34th level twice. It was then that I realized that I could coast and continue to add points and lives becase the game became very easy after that. The first time I think I was up to 187,000 ish with like 20 lives and my game somehow got ended with no evidence of my high score. I was so mad, but I decided to play again knowing that if I got passed it twice again, I could dominate this game that I have grown to HATE. Well I did and got my score up to around 287,000 with 70 lives. Little did I know until I read some posts on this site that you lose your game if you turn off your blackberry. I had a google maps update and applied it, which required a restart of my blackberry. Oh well. I don’t care though. I probably would have played forever if this had not happened. Finally I am FREEEEE!! I beat that stupid game, and it only took me 8 friggin years to do it. So long BrickBreaker. On to the next addiction. 🙂

    I don’t understand how you lot can have such high scores when YOU CAN’T SAVE the game! You must be on it the whole time day and night or are you all using the old version when saving was an option?

      Good question, you can’t save the game but you can pause it. If you are playing and you just press the red key to hang up the phone, it will pause the game and you can do other things on the phone. If you open BrickBreaker again you can resume the game. This means you can play the game over the course of days/weeks/months. But you can’t fully save a game to the database, which basically means if you ever reboot your phone (e.g. take the battery out), your progress will be lost.

      I tried to check the #2 score on the leaderboard and found that I’m no longer able to access the leaderboard (as other people have mentioned in these comments previously). So I would say, go for a nice round number!

    v5.0.0.832, plate forme 6.3.0.31. i will blog here if u accept that i’m not english speaker… i usually speak french but i can go english a bit. Average is simple. when u rach level 1 look your level. just devide your score by the level u are on. For the best score, maybe we can tell Blackberry that we want 2 register scores whathever the OS is…
    About my best score, i’m still workin on it… Last time i saw blackberry best score it was over 11,000,000. I will beat it lol. When i will b there, i’ll send u a pic. Happy 2 talk 2 someone who love this game..

    Hi! I think the link for high scores is defitively no longer available. That message appear since a few months. So if you want to register your score or if your goal is to keep on playing until you reach a certain level, just forget it…
    My score is 2,473,210 with 569 lives on level 136. What is special is the average witch is 18 138. Based on a long sequence, it is my best average ever. My best score would be much higher (maybe over 6,000,000) but my old Blackberry was falling down all the time :((
    Last point, damaging a brick with a bomb give 10 points on my present Blackberry (9300).

      Hi Sined, well done! I am not sure what my best average is, but that’s a good way to judge the best-of-the-best players. Question: what version of BlackBerry do you have? Earlier in the comments, nick l said maybe OS 6 no longer has a working high score link so I am curious if that’s in fact the problem. Also, I’m planning to create an unofficial high score page. If you’d like to be one of the first people to submit a score, please take a screenshot of your phone and email it to me (contact -at- brickbreakerguide.com). The easiest way to do this is just take a picture of your screen using someone else’s phone and email it from the other phone. Thanks!

    Also I forgot to say, I just upgraded to os 6.0 and there doesn’t seem to be any ‘high score’ option in the brickbreaker menu. I think I remember submitting my high scores before I upgraded but I can’t remember for sure. I tried to go to plazmic.com but, oddly enough, it’s not formatted for mobile browsers. On a side note, the game runs much more smoothly on 6.0.

      Interesting, maybe that’s why some people are having problems submitting their score. I am still on version 5.0 I think.

    Lol @ ‘fortnight’… I just got 26k and I thought I had somethin. But ya wouldn’t it take an absurdly long time to get that many millions of points? I played for almost an hour altogether throguhout the day to get my 26k score. I wonder if the developers of this game envisioned people getting these kinds of scores.

      Hi Nick, yeah, it would take an absurdly long time. By the way, judging by your score, you are getting pretty close to breaking through to a VERY big high score…if you can get past level 34 a second time you will be golden.

    currently have a score of 1,602,450 and 292 lives. A record for me and probably near the top. It has taken me about a month to reach this score. I can’t imagine losing 292 lives, so I will probably just quit or turn it over to someone.

    I think they need not have all scores listed as the same. some devices have a diffrent way to play the game or at least the scoreing is a little bit harder on a diffrent device. I’m at 387,450 right on a curve 8900, now I’ve tried to play on other devices and the game is not as easy as mine. So if they don’t list the games on the leader board according to devices then when you post at least let others know what device your using. Makes it a lot easier to know which device is being used and having more success!

    I’ll never run out of lives at this level. It now depends on how long I really feel like playing…lol.

    Why because catching a capsule gives you 50 points
    Shooting a brick with the gun gives you 50 points
    Hitting a brick with the ball gives you 10
    Shooting a brick with the laser gives you 10 points
    Damaging a brick with a bomb 5 points

      Exactly (though I think the bomb does 10 points of damage…I will have to check). Either way, it’s impossible to have a score ending in 2.

    I had reached a score of about 240,000 with 15 more lives when I took a break. However, whgen I returned to the game again, it went back to the start of a new game, i.e I could not continue the last game. This happened once previously when I had a score of about 86,000. Is there anyway to resume the last game?

      Hi CK, unfortunately there’s no way to save a game in progress or return to the last game. If you close the BrickBreaker app or take the battery out of your phone, it’ll erase your current game and there’s no way to get it back.

    I just finished my longest game ever and my final score was 1,251,370. I believe it said my ranking was 988 but I can’t pull it back up and, when I click on high scores it tells me that “This service is currently not available for your device”. Same thing happened when I tried to click on the link you provided. I have a Blackberry Bold and it is fairly new. I wish someone would publish the top 50 or 100 scores so we could see what we need to beat. I also do not belive the 2 billion point score. It would take way to much time and, the odds say your device would freeze or something during such a long game. My device has frozen while shooting lasers or just hitting the ball from a corner so I know from experience.

      Hi Steve, that’s a great score! That is strange you can’t access the leaderboard — it seems like many people are having this problem of not being able to view the high score website. I’ve found that you can only view the high score Website from within the BlackBerry Browser (that is what opens by default for me when I access High Scores from within BrickBreaker). I did a quick check and the 50th score on the leaderboard at the moment is 4,374,710 points, which is no joke!

    When I try to submit my high score, I hit the sprinkles button to try and bring up the submit high scores but it doesn’t come up. It just says help, new game, options, switch application, and close. I’d like to see where I rank. My score is 295,310. How come I can’t submit my high score?

      Hi Aaron, sorry I’m not sure. When I bring up the menu I see:

      • Help
      • New Game
      • Send High Score
      • High Scores
      • Options
      • Switch Application
      • Close

      And I believe, but can’t confirm for sure (maybe someone else listening in can) that when you have already submitted your high score, the “Send High Score” option is missing but the “High Scores” link is still there. I take it you do not see the “High Scores” link?

      One more thing to check is whether you have a username and password set up. Go to the Options menu and see if anything is filled in under username and password. You might need to set these up before you can submit / view scores. Also, if you let me know your username, I’ll look up your ranking on the leaderboard.

    When I try to access brickbreaker/menu/high scores, I get a window that says High Scores plazmic ‘This service is currently not available on your device’ – how do I get this service? My currentl score is 445,000+ and I have 120 lives. I just want to see where I am on the leader board. thx

      Hi Vic, that is strange. When I go to BrickBreaker menu>high scores, the BlackBerry Browser launches and it starts loading a Webpage that shows the high scores. Perhaps there’s a restriction in place on your device either preventing you from launching the Blackberry browser or restricting that particular Webpage? Just a guess on my part.

      Another thing you can try is opening your BlackBerry browser and going to the following link (note, this link doesn’t work in normal browsers, you can only access it from your BlackBerry browser):
      http://blackberrycanbefun.plazmic.com/mss/leaderboard?game_id=1&lower_limit=10. This is the actual link that you are taken to when you visit BrickBreaker menu>high scores.

      Also one other thing, as a heads up: you may have got 450,000+ on your game in progress, but you will not be able to record this high score on the leaderboard until you actually end your game, either by losing all your lives or purposefully ending your game in progress. This will record your score in the HISCORE section of BrickBreaker. Only then will you officially be able to submit that high score to the leaderboard.

        I have the same issue that my device doesnt support the application. My score is 1.3 mil, 305 lives and level 62. I was listed as number #1300 about 8 months ago when I was at 700k and stopped playing. Started playing the same gane again and hit a million went back in and I dropped to the 15000 spot so stopped playing again. Just started again and now at 1.3 million, I cant see where I am on the score board. pretty sure my bb is about to die so I guess I will never know
